Tembo were simply excellent.

It really was a bespoke service, I once worked in HSBC private Bank and the level of service for a small mortgage was on a par. Sincerely, I cannot speak highly enough about Grace and Callum. The time and tenacity to find and get me approved for my mortgage was way beyond good service. Grace then passed the baton to Callum. Age is just a number - till you need a mortgage!

Callum and his colleagues really delivered for us after we were - we felt - shabbily treated by two banks - and our building society- discriminated against on age ground when affordability was clearly never an issue. Reviewed on: 11th March 2026

Achieving my home-ownership dream with Tembo

Absolutely great experience working with Andy Shead and Callum Doherty to achieve my first mortgage and get my first home. Everyone from Tembo I had contact with was friendly, knowledgeable, approachable and highly responsive. At the end of the day, I left school with very few GCSEs and worked hard for a good few years to qualify as a Gas Engineer.
