Brilliant Business Banking for easy start up

As a start up limited company we needed a business bank account pretty quickly and high street banks had a 6 week lead time. However, from putting in our application with Tide to our business banking account being opened it took a matter of days. Although there's no opportunity for credit or overdrafts and occasionally websites will not allow the tide card to be used for reaccuring payments, we have had an easy and pleasant experience with Tide. Only one Director being able to have access to full functionality of the bank account can be problematic so for these reasons at some point we may move away from Tide if this is not rectified. Apart from these tweaks we are happy with the service we have been provided. Reviewed on: 15th March 2023

Easy setup, easy to use, great service!

Tide was a lifesaver when I first started my company. Traditional banks had very long procedures with registering for business banking, high fees, and lots of paperwork. It took me 5 minutes to set up my Tide account. I also was on the pay as you go plan, so I didn't have to spend money on banking if I wasn't using it. The app is very easy to use, and Tide integrates seamlessly with my accountancy software (FreeAgent). The only downside is not being able to pay in cheques. Apart from that, it's a great experience, and I heartily recommend Tide to any business. Reviewed on: 15th March 2023

Quick, convenient & hassle free!

I have been using Tide since becoming self-employed and have found it to be incredibly useful. The ability to raise invoices, chase and receive payments as well as keeping track of my expenses all on the same platform has made setting up and running my own business so much easier! Good service overall!

Tide has been overall very accommodating, and the set up process was very efficient. The app and web was clear the use from the start and customer service is nice and fast during regular working hours. A few unexpected issues I did deal with is during my travels aboard during winter holidays, the actual emergency support I needed was delayed for several days when my card was not working for international payment. The monthly fee is a tad high honestly. Lastly my attempt to activate tide app on a secondary newer phone keeps crashing every time It’s processing the scan of ID, so many times that I have given up. Easy to use and convenient

Tide takes the hassle out out of business banking. It has integrated perfectly with our Quickbooks accounting software. Finance has become a doddle for us, thanks to Tide. Reviewed on: 15th March 2023
