Thieves with Licence

i can provide print screens i can show every body they just take your money with no explanation first keep them blocked for some. months and then just take it... saying that will add them to bank recall lol.... STAY AWAY FROM THEM Reviewed on: 20th September 2022

Dreadful customer support/service

False incentives

I was enticed into opening a tide business account on the offer of £75 free, I have recently got into ecommerce so thought this could be a useful account to have. 1 day after opening the account I was sent an email that told me I had 5 days to remove my money from the account as it was being deleted. Colossal waste of my time, all so they dont have to pay out £75, disgraceful. dont use this bank! Reviewed on: 31st August 2022

Stay away from Tide

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THIS BANK ! They block your account at every opportunity, you then have to answer the same security questions over and over again. You cannot call them and recieve a generic email response when you try and make a complaint. Reviewed on: 30th August 2022

Frozen account for days on end with no explanation

Tide have currently frozen my account for days on end, seriously affecting my business operation, without any explanation, with only generic responses from their 'customer services' that are effectively designed to get rid of me; i.e 'another team are looking into this, please be patient'. Furthermore, they have blocked my ability to upgrade my account so that I can access phone support to find out what is happening. This is the worst service I have ever received from any organisation. They care just about yourself business

This bank advertises itself as a bank for business. However, it is not insured against fraud. If you lose money by making a transfer from their account to a dishonest seller who will never send you goods, you will never get your money back. It is better to set up a business account with a commercial bank that is insured against such events. My example: I lost £ 650. They had all the details of this transfer, communicated with the fraudster's bank, and after weeks of waiting and writing with them. (many times they ignored me) got a refund of £ 3.64. This is no joke, with 650 they refunded me 3.64. Best of all, the £ 3.64 was never credited to my account. They wrote that it was in my account but it did not come out. I do not recommend. Avoid this joke of a bank

Closed our business account with no notice and no reason. Took 2 weeks to get our money transferred and now won’t provide statements. Impossible to get a sensible response and require identity hoops even when we are chasing our money that they are holding onto with my reason They should be investigated by the FCA Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

Froze my account and close it leaving me stranded in London with no money

This business is absolutely ridiculous. They paused my business account whiles I was mid-shopping for my work. It couldn't have happened at a worse time as the stuff I was getting was urgent. I messaged them on their stupid app no reply for ages. I was left with no money for 3 days and my business account closed without explanation. This company is the worse I have been with. S**t customer service, they reply back to you once a day. I will advise people not to use this bank. Reviewed on: 17th July 2022

Frozen my account effectively stopping me from trading

Tide has frozen my account without notice for information that we have supplied can't get the person who suppose to be dealing with it, what I can see on line some business have been in this situation for months, no matter what they do tide is changing the goal post every time they supply the information, absolute shocking this is people businesses how they pay there bills and feed there family and tide is causing hardship and putting them out of business.
