Great customer services team

Customer service is 2nd to none... I had an issue with my account which was dealt with quickly and efficiently. I had initially expressed my concerns 9pm at night and by 6am the next morning it was already being dealt with.... by 8am problem solved. After the issue was solved I still had customer services check that everything was ok. Reviewed on: 8th March 2021

Only half a bank.

No IBAN number, but it took them months to admit they would not be providing the service. No bounce back loans, but it took them months to admit it. £6/monthly charge PER MasterCard. No cheque photo facilities. Did I say half a bank? Your banking needs would have to be minimal indeed for Tide to meet them. Tenth of a bank might be nearer. Reviewed on: 7th March 2021

Reliable good value and easy to use

Right from the account creation to my daily activities the service provided has been simple and effective to use. Sure "high street" accounts offer more bells and whistles (at a cost), and there are some features I'd like added, but as the old advert says "It does what it says on the tin" ! Great digital customer experience - Tide handled my company incorporation and I was up and running within 2 days. Everything can be done within the app so no fiddling about with card readers etc. The feature set is not as full as more established banks (e.g. no end date for standing orders, no cheque deposits) but it’s getting pretty close and perfect for startup businesses as well as more established ones that don’t do anything too advanced banking-wise.
