Triodos stands out for supporting charities where all other banks are withdrawing their support. It is also unique in the level of customer service if provides - a quick, efficient and personal service, something which is sadly lacking in the banking sector at the moment. Triodos is always clear in any changes they make and the ethical ethos is wide and deep- supporting many small and large business ventures beyond that of just handling the investment. Reviewed on: 16th April 2026

Saving with a clear conscience; doing good.

I have saved with Triodos for over 20 years, secure in the knowledge that my money is being put to very good use. It is never used to invest in dubious industries, such a tobacco. The interst paid, while perhaps not the highest, is better than my building society account, and is earned by ethical investment only.
