A truly ethical bank

I feel very happy placing my money with Triodos. They place ethical and environmental considerations first, whereas for most banks these come second to profitability. And this ethical approach is also reflected in the honesty and transparency of their communication with me as a customer, so I feel confident they will keep me fully informed. Investments which really help others.

Last year I invested through Triodos in an organisation which builds residential homes for adults with learning difficulties. I am especially interested in this as my adult son is severely disabled. The whole investment process was very straightforward. The staff at Triodos were very helpful for me, especially as a first time investor. I am now looking at other similar investments with Triodos and would strongly recommend other investors do the same. Reviewed on: 18th April 2021

great ethical investment provider

Have been investing using the Triodos crowdfunding site for a few years now. Find the site easy to use, with useful features to keep track of investments and a great way to support organisations trying to address important issues such as climate change and personal care. Make a difference with your money

Many major banks have very questionable investment policies, treat local staff badly,close local branches and have little if any morality. Triodos I feel has heart and invests in projects to benefit the environment not destroy it Reviewed on: 18th April 2021

My personal view

I moved to Triodos Bank after nearly fifty years of habitual banking with one of the top high street banks because I wanted to play my tiny part in helping to reverse global damage. When I looked at the interesting variety of loans they gave, along with their ethical choices in investments I knew it was the bank with which I wanted to be associated. Having joined, I was then impressed with the easy level of person to person communication, though I have to say in the three years I’ve been with them that level of phone communication service has dropped! If I won the £1000, which seems to be the minimum one can invest, I would put it straight into a recommended investment with Triodos. Reviewed on: 18th April 2021

It shows that money can be put to good use.
