Review of the Triodos Bank, Stocks and Shares ISA:

A caveat for the disabled.

I already have a savings account with Triodos and wished to add an ISA. Unfortunately it is not possible to open one without the use of a smart phone of certain level of specification/security. Because I have physical impairment, I cannot use touch screen technology and the bank have been unable to offer an alternative. Fortunately there are other savings providers and platforms out their that I can invest with and some where I can even stipulate into which way my funds are directed. ie ethically. Whilst the level of customer service is good and correspondence has been clear and logical, I cannot recommend the bank to anyone with a disability, who might similarly be disappointed by their inflexibility of protocols. The app has a very easy interface, buying and selling investments is easy, with no individual transaction fees (just low annual service charge and ongoing charges), investments have positive social and environmental impacts (as an added bonus, the Future Generations Fund supports UNICEF), and the customer service is excellent.
