Great customer care

Unprompted Triodos froze a current account that was costing me a monthly fee and I wasn’t using it right now but was also reluctant to close it in case of need to transfer from savings. They pre- empted my need! Reviewed on: 20th March 2026

We set up a triodos savings account because we received a large amount of money and wanted that to be held by a more ethical bank than the main high street ones in the UK. We found triodos, which matched that need and have had excellent customer service since joining them. We have considered opening more accounts with them based on this single need, and are in the process of divesting our accounts from Barclays to a more ethical banking provider!
