Good money back offers

4
The account comes with a decent interest rate and offers money back under use which really sets it apart. Sign up was simple and easy. Reviewed on: 31st May 2017

easy to switch

5
The switch bonus was a nice treat, my dealings with the branch workers has always been good. Reviewed on: 30th May 2017

All you could want in a free current account

5
Very good product, easy to use and review as required. Supported by a good app. Excellent customer service. For a free current account, there are some good 'perks'. Reviewed on: 30th May 2017

Great website, good product

So many banks have rubbish websites. The TSB online banking system is actually fairly painless, and setting up new payments etc is much easier than on many other systems. The product's decent too. Reviewed on: 30th May 2017

Dreadful

1
Locked out from my account for no reason other than that I was overseas trying to transfer funds. It appears TSB is not aware that people travel. Waited in telephone queue and then unfortunately gave wrong postcode...corrected myself immediately but no go. Was asked to verify my identity by faxing documents. Fax?..how last century can you get?Faxed documents with huge difficulty and traipsing about only to be told said fax wasn't clear enough. Suggested I fax again as they had no other facility to verify. Once back in UK I will be closing this account. Dreadful way to treat customers. Reviewed on: 19th May 2017

Opened a Classic account direct from a pop up ad when I was checking my emails.

1
I was impressed by the benefits in a pop up ad at the side of my emails and applied for the account the same day. The screen listed all the wonderful benefits again and I completed the form - no mention that account had to be opened after 1st March. I noticed, when checking my account today, that the £5 cash back for having more than 2 direct debits was not being paid. Phoned to check this and, after some delay, was told the benefits were only applicable to accounts opened after 1st March. When I emphasised the point about the ad appearing on my screen I was told that they didn't start running the ad until 1st March. Would like to know if anyone else saw this pop up before 1st March. Also, separate issue, I applied on line for their credit card, received acknowledgement of the application and that was that, (My credit rating is excellent by the way)When I phoned it turns out it has got lost in the system and I need to wait 30 days to reapply. Am not going to bother! Customer services are very pleasant and helpful but their system doesn't appear efficient. Reviewed on: 7th May 2017

great benefits, good internet banking

5
The benefits and interest from this account are great, and there's no monthly fee either. People in branch are always friendly. The internet banking is great, the only improvement could be to show pending transactions. Reviewed on: 4th April 2017

Lots of cashbook options

4
The TSB classic account is really good for making you money without you having to do anything different to your usual spending. They give you 3% interest every month if you pay in £500 or more. Plus £5 cashback every month if you have two direct debits (which I'm sure most people do). Plus other cashbook options #MaxYourMoney Reviewed on: 21st March 2017

Good interest rate

3% gross interest rate up to £1500. Easy to operate & maintain. No direct debits needed but monthly funding. #MaxYourMoney Reviewed on: 21st March 2017

TSB Plus Account

4
Switched my Current Account in January to Halifax and gained £100 switching fee and £3 monthly bonus. Wasn't happy with the special offers as I didn't shop or eat out at any of the stores given and you have to opt in to them anyway. So, I waited until TSB offered a fee and switched back to receive £125 and 5% interest up to £1500 and 5% cashback on the first £100 of contactless payments. Only downside of TSB Plus Account is that they block your account when you spend or transfer large amounts of money. I now use another Current Account for this reason as well. My switching has earned me more than my yearly work bonus. I am definitely a believer in #MaxYourMoney. Reviewed on: 12th March 2017
