The process of setting up a charity bond was quite slow especially as I hadn't done it before but the steps were set out quite clearly so I hope that in future it could be easier! The staff at UTB were very helpful and gave clear advice. Reviewed on: 15th April 2025

was looking for long-term savings accounts for our charity, and UTB had an excellent spread of lengths of terms at good interest rates. We have a 40 day notice, 200 day, and 1, 2 and 3 year bonds to spread out our savings. I found it very easy to transfer funds etc, and that was before the online banking was available. This has also made it easy to track interest amounts received for keeping the accounts up to date. I did struggle to track down what interest had been earned on each account before we went to online, but can now check whenever I need to - just had to for AGM and year end accounts - which was a great help.
