Long complaint process, unhelpful staff down to zero...

I phoned to arrange to bring my balance down to zero and asked Vanquis to waive the additional £172 they’d just added in interest and charges, which they wouldn’t do when I complained about the customer service advisor telling me it was my own fault and I ‘should organise my finances better’ I escalated the complaint…I have now paid the balance but the extra fee has been accumulating interest and Vanquis have advised it takes 30 days to process complaints. As the interest on this account is already quite high I feel that Vanquis could be more helpful and user friendly Reviewed on: 1st May 2024
