I’ve been with VANQUIS for about 20 years, I was owed a lot of money for work that had been done and the customer didn’t have the money to pay me, so I ended up with the worse credit rating ever, but VANQUIS offered me a credit card for I think £500 and then over the years they increased the amount of money available for me, and my credit rating raised and raised and then I had a brilliant credit rating because of VANQUIS so because you were so kind and helpful and caring, I’ve stayed with you for all those years, you’ve just been so brilliant thank you so much Reviewed on: 20th May 2026

Stupendous

I’ve had a really positive experience with the Vanquis Credit Builder Card. It’s helped me improve my credit score steadily over time and the app is straightforward and easy to use. Payments show clearly, limits are explained properly, and everything feels transparent with no nasty surprises. Customer service has always been helpful whenever I’ve needed support, and the card has been great for rebuilding confidence with credit management. Good Customer Service, Clean User Experience.

I have been using Vanquis for a few years, to build my credit score, and I managed to get a very solid score thanks to it, while also allowing me some leeway with monthly budgeting. The new app has only improved the experience, especially since the redesign. It gives clear reminders and it is easy to make payments. The only real downside is that the bank I make payments to is not one of the ones currently listed for the pay by bank option. Hopefully it will be eventually added, but I have had no issues with Direct Debit. Last year I had to make use of their anti-fraud service, which required contacting customer support, who were quick, understanding and helpful. Reviewed on: 20th May 2026
