Do what they say on the tin for a good price.

Do what they say on the tin for a good price. Made a claim at the start of this year and it was settled in full fairly quickly without any quibble. Have looked at alternative providers before now and none seem to offer anything cheaper with the same cover, etc. Provides pretty much everything I need re: cover. Reviewed on: 11th October 2024

Misleading bicycle cover

I have had premium Velosure bike insurance for the last 4 years for a racing bike ($15,500.00 cover). After an accident with frame / component damage (my first claim) I was informed that Velosure would settle the claim for $4,100.00 based on depreciated value of the frame. Replacement value $7,500.00. I have been paying premiums based on the original cost of the bike, not the depreciated value, with the expectation that they would replace damaged frame / component like for like. I have since cancelled my policy. I would not use them again. Reviewed on: 12th October 2023

Making a claim with Velosure.

When I had to make a claim with Velosure cycle insurance the experience was simple, the staff were extremely helpful and the claim was processed very quickly. I think that Velosure offer great value and operate in a friendly and professional manner. Reviewed on: 17th October 2022

Velosure Cycle Insurance

Velosure have given me piece of mind that my cycle is covered and can be replaced should anything happen to it. They are also easy to contact although I have not had to claim from them and it's my second year with them. Reviewed on: 16th October 2022

Mixed feelings

Obviously you will only know how good an insurance company really when you need to use it. The only time I have had to use them, was when I got a flat tyre, which I was unable to repair myself. Upon calling the insurance company I was informed that a taxi would be despatched to get me to the nearest bike shop. However two later and still no taxi So based on my experience so far I am not impressed. Reviewed on: 16th October 2022
