After the death of my husband it was necessary to move some money to another company The Vernon is locally based It was possible to get over the counter information and to make an appointment The staff in Marple were positive, informative, knowledgeable, professional and sympathetic I opened my new account at the Stockport branch Despite the ongoing renovations the staff were as helpful and professional as the staff at the Marple branch Paper work re the new account was sent swiftly Since opening the account The Vernon has sent further useful information Reviewed on: 3rd February 2024

A friendly and professional service, that still manages to feel like a local building society and not a faceless bank that doesn't care about its members. They have a good knowledge of the local area and community and are keen to support those in it. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2024
