Best place to get a loan

Best place to get a loan because they help you save at the same time as paying them back iv saved nearly £800with them also very little interest compared to many others East Sussex credit union have helped me out so much in difficult times by approving my loan when I moved into my first flat with my children I didn’t have nothing only basic stuff and my mum passed away 8 years ago and my dad I don’t know so credit union helped me in difficult times and a fair few times too as I have no one else to help me I’m soo grateful I found credit union definitely recommended people! I have been with these for many years now, I have had loans which they explain fully before you even commit, also have savings, I also like that if you do have queries they always happy to talk and help you through every thing, I have also referred family too. There when you need them.

Bringing a sensible and ethical approach to ensure sensible lending

ESCU are fabulous, they are the right balance of ethical, practical and professional and I love how they help you save as you are paying back your loan. The staff are genuinely interested in promoting healthy lending and general good money management practices and I have learnt so much from them and secured an affordable loan that is very manageable and which has saved another person from feeling forced into the dark side of lending. Excelent Professional and Ethical Loans & Savings Service

The ESCU have been crucial in helping improve my family finances after a large credit card debt owned to high street banks. Affordable loans

I had a very large vet bill to pay because my pet insurance refused to pay. I went to ESCU for help and they loaned me £500 ,so I paid back £55 per month ,£25 of which went into a savings account. You cannot access the savings until you have paid off your loan. Its a great way to borrow and save at the same time. Reviewed on: 16th February 2021

The first step to financial normality

The Credit Union first helped us get out of a cycle of debt mostly from Short Term loans, with a loan offering affordable repayments and a chance to build savings for our first time. The Annual Bus pass discount with Brighton & Hove buses for members helped us budget better by purchasing an annual pass with a 20% saving rather than paying for the monthly pass which worked out much more expensive and no discount. During lockdown we have taken out loans with the Credit Union that have been arranged at a real quick turnaround whilst still ensuring affordability in it's processing of applications, in fact the service feels more efficient now than ever before and a real person to say thank you to when the loan has been fully processed.
