I took a loan with this company

My experience with East Sussex Credit Union has been wonderful. I borrowed £3000 from this company 2017, I started paying back the money but along the line a loosed my job and was struggling to repay my loan but this company were always supporting, and their interest was very low. Finally, i have managed to completed my loan repayment last month. I will recommend ESCU. Reviewed on: 30th March 2021

The best organisation to access loans

I have been a member of East Sussex Credit Union for a few years now, and highly recommend their services. What drew me to them, was their affordable interest rates for loans, the requirement, but also incentive to save whilst paying back loans, and the great customer services. Their loan application process is straight forward and you get an answer quickly. As a result of being a member of ESCU, I have been able to continue the habit of saving, long after I have paid back my loans, and it has also made me think a lot more about my spending habits and long-term financial plans. Supporting local people

Person-centred reasonable lending

East Sussex Credit Union are supporting me to get myself out of debt. They enabled me to consolidate my debts, which I am paying off whilst also making some savings (at their insistence). They have always been very supportive and understanding of individual circumstances changing. They basically just treat customers like real people with real lives! Easy, approachable loan people

I needed to take out a loan to build a ramp to give me wheelchair access. Contacted ESCU. They were very helpful and did a quick but thorough assessment of what I could afford, and explained their policy to get people used to saving a regular amount. They made a loan offer and detailed all the costs. I felt safe dealing with them rather than one of the awful payday loan sharks. The money was transferred to my bank account promptly.
