AT least unethical decision to close an old regular savings account

Suddenly announced that an old regular account was not only variable on the interest rate paid but also that they could get away with ending the bonus rate which had been paid for some years. To add insult to injury they closed the account, moved balance into a new account favourable to them as still with the old single access. I am in the process of moving my accounts elsewhere. Lovely people

i have been using this building society for more than 20 years and the staff know us by name and always ask after our family members and how we are doing , do loads of charity work for chosen charities and so very helpful at getting the best returns possible that we are happy to use a most pleasant and effecient place Reviewed on: 24th December 2016

Friendly, Efficient and helpful

I would just like to say that the staff at our local branch of the Yorkshire Building Society are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. I am very happy with the service I receive. My daughter recently misplaced her ATM card and the staff were very kind and sorted out the problem immediately and efficiently. It was a very simple procedure without any fuss and she had a new card within 3 days. Excellent service :D Reviewed on: 6th February 2016

Banking in a good way ...........

The staff at the Yorkshire Building Society in Prestatyn branch are second to none. They always make you feel valued and go out of their way to help you. It feels like banking in a good way, and not just about profits and large salaries and bonus for bankers. I also recommend their online banking, it is very easy to use and for me so far trouble free.
