Zempler Bank offer two personal current accounts – the Freedom account and the Activeplus account.

The Freedom account has no monthly fees and the Activeplus account is £5.95 per month. There may be fees for sending money and withdrawing or paying in cash. Both accounts come with the option to add on an overdraft.

Easy online banking

Extremely poor service

Having recently had a problem with the payment I made and did not receive what I paid for my friends at all the banks, Lloyds Halifax and NatWest card, their banks. It was a flight. We booked call their banks and within 24 hours receive their money back, however, myself had to contact Cash Plus fill out a form which they claimed took 45 days to process before I got my money back for not receiving the booking I made. They said it’s MasterCard which is a load of rubbish because like I said in the past I have paid for things haven’t received them and immediately got my money back when contacting my bank Lloyds I then filled out the form sent all the required information. Wait three weeks to get an email saying we received your information. He is now going to take 45 days so this is over three months. It will take to get my £150 back. An absolute joke. As soon as I get my money back. I’m closing my account the service is disgraceful. Reviewed on: 10th March 2023

Lack of communication

Phoned up to informed them my card no onger works, was told someone would call me back within 5 working days nobody contacted me I had to make that call. Card was was finally block another card issued. Which took a further 4 working days overall I had to wait just over 3 weeks. Also you can not see individual transactions that you have done. And furthermore I can now apply for overdraft (not that I need one or have asked for one).but 53.32% is a ridiculous amount, so please stop sending stupid emails.
