Email states enter 10 digit account number. Email states enter 10 digit account number. Only provided with a 8 digit number. Not a good start. So can not log on. Reviewed on: 4th June 2026

Pleased with customer experience. Would be good if some of all of the funds in a maturing regular savings bond could be rolled over (subject to monthly deposit limit) into the new issue bond. Reviewed on: 19th August 2019

Anytime I speak to anyone, they are knowledgeable and friendly. Special account rates can be very good but how about reusing passbooks after a 1 year account has matured. Save resources and money. Reviewed on: 18th August 2019

Postal & Branch Accessible Saver account

The information sheet states this saver account can be withdrawn without notice at any time. It does not clarify what happens to existing savers: [1] will savings be frozen or savers expected to transfer to another (Chorley BS) account, [2] will further deposits be allowed by existing savers, [3] will interest continue to accrued? There is no reference I could find to a Pass Book being issued - it is issued. There was no description of how funds can be withdrawn as cash, by cheque or by electronic transfer, what notice is required & the maximum limits by each method. I got the answers to these questions from one of the branch cashiers. Reviewed on: 16th August 2019

Easy to open a account it was the first time I was not asked for ID passport or driving licence because I do not have them. I opened it with pension service and council tax letters for my ID Reviewed on: 13th August 2019
