Great customer service

Needed to speak to the customer service team about our mortgage product which is coming to an end soon. The Customer service representative couldn't have been more helpful. Joined the call fretting about the outcome, but she put my mind at ease and was extremely helpful. Came away feeling so much happier and with a plan for the future that we are happy with. Worst lender I’ve ever dealt with.

Worst lender I’ve ever dealt with. • No Mobile App: Lacks a modern mobile app, making account management inconvenient. • Delayed Documentation: Waited six months for a letter of agreement to rent my mortgaged property. I paid a fee for it, yet the delay caused me to lose the rental opportunity. The fee was never refunded, but they still calculated interest based on the property being rented without notice. • Unjustified Payment Adjustments: Despite being on a fixed-rate mortgage, my monthly payments were recalculated to pay less towards the principal but more in interest—without any reason or notification. • Lack of Transparency: No clear breakdown of how much interest you pay monthly, making it difficult to track your finances properly. • Inconvenient Overpayments: Overpayments can’t be made directly through your account. You have to call customer support and wait around 30 minutes to speak to someone. Extremely disappointing service. Would not recommend. Reviewed on: 12th January 2025

After having our mortgage with them for over 5 years...

After having our mortgage with them for over 5 years, the renewal process was fast, care free and with no issues at all to get a new mortgage with them. Excellence service from start to finish. Reviewed on: 10th October 2024

Mortgage provider with that personal touch

My first mortgage was arranged with Accord, it was a smooth process with no hitches. I was kept informed by the knowledgable, friendly advisors at all stages, whose customer service was second to none. I could always get through straight away when I rang and the advice I was given when I wanted to change my mortgage rate from fixed to variable was clear and I was able to make an informed choice. Discrimination against a vulnerable person

Raised a complaint and Jenna Rogers closed my complaints without even contacting me to explain why, unprofessional and when i complained she said well you do suffer with mental illness so what do you know, shameful behaviour from an uneducated person and a discriminatory attitude towards mental illness Reviewed on: 18th April 2023
