Fantastic

Excellent service for people on or off benefits

The idea of being able to take a loan against my child benefit which greatly helps many to make the repayment an easier service and the value of repayment is excellent, I have found myself in financial hardship at times and so this is mine and my children’s life line from fixing the car to needing clothes on our backs so I can only thank acorn very much Reviewed on: 7th May 2024

Acorn bank has always provided me loans when needed. I find their process easy to navigate, repayments affordable and their customer service has always been good. Would definitely recommend! The staff are always really helpful and polite whenever I phone or email. Also, the application forms are super easy to follow and fill out. As a previous domestic violence victim, my credit score was completely ruined by my perpetrator; meaning no credit card or loan eligibility once I finally left. The service that Acorn provide was an absolute godsend for myself and my two children. It allowed me to have access to a loan which would be paid back gradually from my child benefit payments and enabled me to purchase essentials that the children and I had to leave when we fled. Without this option we would’ve been left without a cot for my son to sleep in, bottles for him to feed from, clothes and a pushchair etc. It’s an amazing service and one that I would recommend to all. Highly recommended

I was really struggling last year and acorn helped me arrange a child benefit loan with very little interest at all and a fantastic scheme for paying back whereby a mandatory saving amount (very small) meant that o had savings when I finished paying. Reviewed on: 7th May 2024
