Disgusting company do not use

Admiral allowed someone to use only my name and address to take out car insurance fraudulently. I have never been insured with them. The person then crashed twice claiming on my name leaving me unable to take out insurance. I am now 5 months in without insurance and after relentless phone calls over hours of call time, they have got nowhere. Disgusting company do not use them. I haven't been able to drive for 5 months. Had a dreadful experience following a broken window

Admiral completely botched repairs following a suspected break in and smashed drivers window. Took months to put right with me having to chase Admiral, Autoglass (who did a terrible job) and the recovery firm. Would not recommend any of them. Reviewed on: 16th September 2023

3 months for a repair and still waiting

A complete joke, having to wait this long and do this much chasing for a simple repair. Reviewed on: 14th September 2023

Awful

Had a renewal quote on Friday which was 43% higher than the previous year. I called to see if they can do anything about it but they could almost do nothing. As it was 43% higher, I wanted to shop around to find if there was cheaper option. They give me 2 days to decide. I decided to stay with them, however, upon calling them today, they said that my contract was cancelled and they gave me a new quote that was over £2k more than even the previous renewal quote. None of this was mentioned to me when extending the contract. In fact, I was told that I could renew it on Monday but apparently the advisor made a mistake and it was until the end of Sunday. ..When spoken to the customer advisor, she said she was in the new business department vs renewals as if it is my responsibility to know their organisational structure. Reaching the best level

Paid out a claim and did not tell me

Admiral paid out for a claim, for damage I didn’t cause and didn’t tell me. Told if there is a 1% chance I caused the damage, they were going to pay. Told the claim wasn’t going through, 2 months later I call back (they never reached out to me) to find out it was processed and it’s past 60 days so nothing I can do. Terrible experience. Been a customer for a while, happy to take money but when something goes wrong, they don’t care. Reviewed on: 7th September 2023
