Friendly and helpful staff on the end of the telephone

I had to telephone regarding a leak from an upstairs flat. The Admiral employee I spoke to was kind, knowledgeable, professional and very helpful. She called back when she said she would and discussed my options with me. I was very impressed with the service. Reviewed on: 22nd August 2019

Great all around

Insurance is just in case

Since a lot of insurers now give a no-claim discount for home contents insurance the market is pushing to attract new customers. Admiral reward loyalty by offering existing customers more for the same price or less, if you haven't made a claim. Reviewed on: 2nd August 2020

So Far Impressive

My first dealings with the Company and so far very pleased with the outcome. I received some guidance in helping me with my application for house insurance which was a bit more complex than usual. Renewal price was as good as "new customer" deals by other companies

Okay, I'm used to shopping around every time home and car insurances come about, gives me a bargaining position with the current company. Came to Admiral just over a year ago for my car insurance, specified not to autorenew. Renewal time a month away, started to shop around for quotes each week (they do vary even from the same provider for the same start date), the very best prices I was getting were slightly less (below £15pa for a dual driver, fully comp, both covered for business use on an above average estate car) than the renewal quote I'd received from Admiral, and they had less "extras" cover and a higher compulsory excess. First time in more than 35 years of driving I've accepted a renewal quote, and I didn't even have any solid ground to haggle on with the advisor I called to accept the renewal. Competitive prices and good customer service

I had been with my home insurer for years, when I retired I had more time to compare premiums. Like for like insurance with Admiral saved me £700 per year. The customer service team are also very good and are quick to respond and get back to you if they have to. Couldn’t be better. Reviewed on: 2nd August 2020
