Underpinning woes

I’ve only had my new home for 6 months and found a previous owner had undermined the foundations. I contacted Admiral to enquire if my insurance would cover the cost of underpinning but was declined as it falls under poor workmanship; even though it was nothing to do with me. I think this would be the case with all insurance companies and I feel the industry as a whole should be more focused on assisting customers rather than enhancing profits. Cheapest and best.

I have not used Admiral for a claim and hope never to. However, they do seem to be as efficient and easy to use as any other insurance company in my experience. Reviewed on: 22nd August 2019

User friendly quote site..

Requested a quote having been disappointed in a price hike from my previous insurer whom I had been with for many years. I was impressed with Admirals web site and its ease of use .
