About this product

Aegon offered a Retiready Pension which was withdrawn for new customers from December 2023. For existing customers, it has a maximum service charge of 0.5% per year.

Still Disgusting

Value now £22,649. Been in contact with them again by email. No reply so now going to talk to Ombudsman but Im also calling the financial frau office. If anyone wants to join me in complaining just say so in here. Their arrogance is quite something. One person you can try is Leslie Rae who is a complaints handler but know very little and just a fund managers puppet. Inundate her with calls see if you get anywhere. Im now down 33%+ in 9 months and they Aegon couldnt give a toss. Reviewed on: 6th September 2022

Very Poor

Online platform very difficult to navigate, fund fact sheets and policy names never match so impossible to to find performance info, a so called cautious low risk fund has dropped 30% in 2 years, customer service shocking, a basic blanket statement that Aegon are not responsible for the economic situation, do not give this shower any of your money Reviewed on: 6th September 2022

Disgusting.

Value in November 2021 £33700, value now at 23/2022 £23800. Absolutely disgusting. No one you can talk to knows anything apart from "talk to a financial advisor" Fund managers are not available ever. Shrinking Pension funds, online system un-usable

Ive had my pension open for 18 months, and its shrinking on a monthly basis. When ive come to request my financial advisor to have access to my policy, I had a letter asking me to fill out an online form that doesnt exist. The website lists around 13 types of pension and funds before you can login, then when you do and ask for support it asks for your policy number, which is also known as your plan number or your scheme number, then the search offers 507 documents to review. Shrinking daily

They have achieved nothing in six years but to make my money shrink. They blame brexit covid the war in Ukraine. I trust them at all just a load of charlatans. I suspect fraud. Keep away. Reviewed on: 28th July 2022

Absolutely shocking service

Trying to transfer a pension out since they have high fees and little choice. They are either completely incompetent or doing everything they can to stall the process. Long wait times to get through or they just advise emailing then disconnect. They then take weeks to respond to email. Very poor at advising on status. They couldn't do any worse if they tried. I would give 0 stars if there was such option

I have been trying to transfer my Aegon pension out to another provider for the last 8 months. So far so bad. The customer service team is completely unhelpful. Regardless if contacting them via phone or email, there is no way to get a coherent answer. Each month they reveal a new problem, new form which needs to be filled out, new issue to resolve. After 8 months of this I am beginning to feel like my pension is being held hostage by a group of incompetent Aegon employees. Stay away. Reviewed on: 8th July 2022
