I feel cheated

When setting up the account, I was promised that if a rate change occurred I would benefit from this. A rate change did happen and on calling in, the representitive promised that the change would be applied in days. I was later contacted and told this would not happen and my money is locked into the lower savings rate. This is now with the ombudsman. Reviewed on: 13th September 2023

Great Savings Rates

Very efficient, professional and friendly service

I have had a few Fixed Rate Bond accounts with Aldermore Bank and I have always found all the staff each time I have wanted to call them very efficient, professional and friendly. The staff answer your calls quickly and are very helpful and knowledgable. Aldermore always keeps you updated with regards to your account(s). I have nothing but praise for Aldermore. Saving in an unsteady economy

I have opened several savings plans with Aldermore ranging from 1 to 3 years. Always with some of the best market rates. Easy to use web access and clear / intuitive account management. Really pleased with them Reviewed on: 24th February 2022

Aldermore reason to invest with them!

I have power of attorney for my elderly aunt and we needed to invest some money on her behalf. Their fixed rate bonds were the perfect product and setting up an account was quick and easy. On maturity, we wanted to reinvest funds in a new bond and, again, this was dealt with efficiently and speedily. Altogether a very nice company to do business with. Reviewed on: 27th January 2022

Opening an account was a complete shambles

My mum has had to move into a residential home and has sold her house. She tried to open an account with Aldermore, but they wanted additional proof of ID. They were sent her passport and a BT bill addressed to her at the home. Most of the things they would accept she could not provide and the list of people allowed to certify copies meant she would have to had gone out to someone's office, but she has mobility issues. Professional and friendly
