Not worth having The balance is paid off in full yet card keeps on declining and was asked to provide evidence of payment which they acknowledged payment 5 days prior. Reviewed on: 8th November 2023

As a UK customer who has held an American Express card for several years, I have always found their cardmember services to be excellent. The ability to contact customer support 24/7 is very helpful, whether you need assistance with payments, disputes, or any other account-related issues. I have always been able to reach a knowledgeable representative who can promptly resolve my issue. American Express clearly prides itself on providing superior customer service, and you can feel that commitment with every interaction. Representatives are professional, polite and strive to exceed your expectations. Even if they cannot resolve your issue on the initial call, they work diligently behind the scenes until a satisfactory solution is found. As someone living outside of the US, I particularly value the global reach and acceptance of American Express cards. Even when travelling abroad, I can count on their cardmember services to assist me with any issues that come up. Reviewed on: 1st July 2023

American express means every word they say! They are very trust worthy and very safe. They have been really helpful when i have had problems and always been really friendly. My advice would totally use American Express. Reviewed on: 14th April 2015

American Express to bad they are not accepted in more stores

Amex Platinum great value of perks for whole family

Amex Platinum charge card offers very good value of perks for whole family if you are a frequent traveller (top travel insurance for whole family and top airline, car hire and lounges clubs). Much better than Natwest Black card. Amex Centurion offer even better perks but much more expensive and as such less value. Reviewed on: 18th October 2014
