Terrible Paid insurance for years. My dog was put to sleep recently - tried to claim of insurance & told not possible to claim as my dog was over 8yrs old !!! Reviewed on: 9th October 2023

Excellent pet insurance

I have been with Animal Friends for 4 years and have had to claim a total of 3 times for my 5 year old Patterdale terrier and each time they have paid out immediately without and fuss what so ever, Could not wish for a better insurance company Reviewed on: 20th July 2022

I had to use the insurance earlier this year and they were brilliant. If I hadn’t any insurance then my dog would have had no chance. With Animal Friends beside me I was able to give Spi the best chance of survival. Unfortunately, it was too late and I had to make the hardest decision. Wouldn't trust anyone else

Go above and beyond for you as a customer, very helpful and knowledgeable staff, claims get settled quickly and with ease due to the pawtal system and customer Hub which takes away stress of forms in all situations and for claiming repeat medications. Good variety of policies which are all clear and easy to understand so you know exactly what you're covered for. The joii app is also a great aspect in that you can get veterinary advice from the palm of your hand via your mobile phone through video consultations or they can give you general advice via the symptom checker. Animal Killers

I have a 11 year old Yorkshire Terrier, had pet insurance all his life, with animal friends for the last 4 years, and have the higher policy too. Never claimed anything for him. He had an emergency, life and death situation. I paid nearly £1000 to get him stable, will be an ongoing issue for life now. Animal Killers (aka Friends) will not pay me a single penny to cover anything, even the vets are disguisted in Animal Friends behaviour, and have had to force me to cut my little best friends treatment shortening his little life, thanks a lot Animal Killers - please anyone who cares about their pets stay away from this nasty vile company!
