Poor value compared to other savings providers We have a number of savings accounts. Atom bank has been the worst by far in terms of offering one rate and then dropping the rate. Do not recommend Reviewed on: 9th March 2026

Give it a try

Excellent saving rates, I'm still earning 5.9% until it matures in July 2025. Some people may be put off by having to use an app but it really is very straightforward and I'm well into retirement. Great facial recognition for security. Initially (2018) it was difficult to use, but in recent years it has become much easier. Reviewed on: 18th April 2025

Very easy to set up and use Fixed Term savings account.

Very easy to set up and use Fixed Term savings account. Have felt like my money was safe and it was easy to find out what was happening with it in the app. Timely reminders before maturity and then easy to move the money elsewhere (into another one of their fixed accounts usually!).
