Would recommend

I had Aviva Car insurance for 1 year and cannot complain. Lovely staff on the phone, they offered me a discount for my insurance. Would recommend. Reviewed on: 5th September 2024

A bit expensive but no problems

I had Aviva as it was the cheapest insurance I could find, I never needed to use it, but when it came time to renew, they were not very accommodating, they eventually offered a £60 discount when I told them I had much better offers from other insurers. In the end I switched as I could get Fully-comprehensive insurance elsewhere for almost half the price. Reviewed on: 10th August 2015

After trawling through comparison websites........

We had trawled through comparison sites to find a decent quote for car insurance that was not thousands of pounds for our son who had just passed his car tested age 20, (but had already passed 2 motorcycle licences A1 and A2 having started driving mopeds at age 16). The quotes were just to expensive for his little Ford KA. We were disheartened, but then I was recommended by a friend to try Aviva. They had, had a good deal. So we did.... We were amazed, but delighted that they could insure him and they had the most competitive price that was available - for £800 for the year. So much better and the website was easy to manage. Getting covered was simple and easy to do through the website. We will be looking at the renewal quote from Aviva, before shopping around next time. Reviewed on: 9th August 2015

helpful site for someone my age

Ii have just got my insurance with aviva, I am only twenty so getting as good quote was a must, and with aviva, I got a quote which I could afford. Reviewed on: 26th March 2015

great, but not cheap

Quick and easy on-line application and payment on their clear website, but they would have been too expensive without going through a cash back site. And it is a shame they are not on common price comparison websites, as it means you have to enter your info again, to get a price from them. Reviewed on: 26th March 2015

Excellent service

I recently fitted up my diesel car with petrol (yes, I know, people really can be that stupid) and Aviva handled my claim brilliantly. Their service was quick and easy and everything was sorted in a couple of days. Reviewed on: 26th March 2015

A company that gives great customer service, a rarity nowadays!

Aviva may not be the cheapest provider of car insurance however their product together with a call centre that actually employs knowlegable, courteous, helpful and professional persons that do indeed treat the customer not only fairly but respectfully. Reviewed on: 26th March 2015
