Great customer service

Took out a Barclaycard Platinum last week. Had a current account with Barclays for years. The local branch service was very helpful and were able to clarify my options and their benefits. Found it a smooth and stress-free experience Reviewed on: 5th February 2017

Did exactly what they said they would!!

Balance transfer notification by post and email, offering simple 0% balance transfer. Clear, concise offer, made in plain easy to understand English. I made one phone call, was not made to wait or put on hold, and was spoken to politely and respectfully. Operative was knowledgeable and able to complete my request within 2 minutes. I received written confirmation within 48 hours. In times of 'your call is important to us' and then we are put on hold for an age, only to be eventually answered by an operative who has neither the skills or knowledge to help, Barclaycard bowled me over with their honest, helpful process. Brilliant Credit Card

I recently got a credit card with Barclays (I had one from them years ago) as it had 36 months interest free with £20 cash back and no balance transfer fee. They were very helpful on twitter before I applied for the card, as I was worried being a previous customer I wouldn't be entitled to the offer, but I was! The Barclaycard app is also very easy to use and they have good balance transfer/cash advance/purchase offers for being a customer. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2017

Let you know when theres a better barclaycard product available

I love that Barclaycard send me letters to let me know I can transfer to another card to save money on interest. This is really user friendly and saves me trailing the internet to save money on my balance. I just find my barclaycard platinum account really user friendly in general. Part Good Part Bad

Myself and my partner both have a Barclaycard credit card. We both did balance transfers with 0% interest and I have had a very good experience. My partner however had a bit of a nightmare and they charged interest on his card and said the offer had been removed for some reason, it was however corrected but took time to ring them and get sorted. Great card, great deals, great online banking

What I love about this card is this online banking. Everything is laid out simply so you can find what you need. On the homepage it lets you know in advance when your interest free periods are ending rather than having to locate this on the statement like with some other cards. This card also has long interest free periods on balance transfers and cash transfers which are updated monthly. Reviewed on: 24th January 2017
