Avoid at all costs

Appalling. Every time I have to deal with Barclays it is painful. I am now trying to transfer my cash ISA out and their 'intentional incompetence' is making it VERY difficult to get my money out. Reviewed on: 11th February 2024

Good interest rate

A good interest rate for a new ISA, however, this was not forthcoming from the bank despite having been a Barclays customer for 15+ years. Switching my ISA wasn't the easiest experience as Barclays held incorrect information regarding my name and address which had not been flagged prior - despite also operating business banking with them. Barclays were overall reluctant to accept blame. Reviewed on: 7th June 2023

Barclays best bank in the World

Have been banking with Barclays for a long time. Have been offered incentives to move my bank to another provider, it would have been very easy, and I would have received various benefits. However, I am not attracted like a Magpie to shiny one off offers! Barclays were there for me many times over the years, such as offering me the cheapest low interest personal loan when I needed a new bathroom adapted to my health needs which was affordable over the term. Also a great rate on my Barclay credit card 0% when I needed to get a new boiler quickly. In the past I have signed up for Blue rewards and made £48.00 a year. Every time I have phoned them previously I have received reassurance and had call backs as a follow up. They send alerts if anything suspicious and out of the ordinary occurs on your account. The online banking app is great, even I can use it at my age! To summarise…I love Barclays Bank and am staying put! Reviewed on: 5th April 2023

Very easy to open and monitor

Opened a Barclays CASH ISA in January - it offered one of the best interest rates available in the market. Opening it was also very easy and quick. Overall, a great product that I'd recommend to everyone Reviewed on: 23rd March 2023
