Difficult to change account services

I have a savings account with Barclays and I wanted an ISA with Barclays and I wanted to transfer all the money from the savings to the ISA. I was told this would be straight forward however the process took longer than anticipated because of errors at the Barclays end. Firstly they made a mistake in the type of ISA I wanted, and then made a mistake by transfering it all into that ISA. Would not recommend switching to Barclays services. Good interest rate

A good interest rate for a new ISA, however, this was not forthcoming from the bank despite having been a Barclays customer for 15+ years. Switching my ISA wasn't the easiest experience as Barclays held incorrect information regarding my name and address which had not been flagged prior - despite also operating business banking with them. Barclays best bank in the World

Have been banking with Barclays for a long time. Have been offered incentives to move my bank to another provider, it would have been very easy, and I would have received various benefits. However, I am not attracted like a Magpie to shiny one off offers! Barclays were there for me many times over the years, such as offering me the cheapest low interest personal loan when I needed a new bathroom adapted to my health needs which was affordable over the term. Also a great rate on my Barclay credit card 0% when I needed to get a new boiler quickly. In the past I have signed up for Blue rewards and made £48.00 a year. Every time I have phoned them previously I have received reassurance and had call backs as a follow up. They send alerts if anything suspicious and out of the ordinary occurs on your account. The online banking app is great, even I can use it at my age! To summarise…I love Barclays Bank and am staying put! Reviewed on: 5th April 2023

Very easy to open and monitor

Opened a Barclays CASH ISA in January - it offered one of the best interest rates available in the market. Opening it was also very easy and quick. Overall, a great product that I'd recommend to everyone Reviewed on: 23rd March 2023

Hassle to open account but good interest rate

Opening a Cash ISA account was difficult. I was told to do it in a branch but when I got there they told me they didn't have appointments with a rep available until 3 months later. I couldn't do it online and the app was a nightmare. But after trying several times and spending hours on the phone, I managed to open it. The letter with log in details took a long time to arrive, which is quite inconvenient when you want to start saving as soon as possible. But after all that hassle, the website works well and the interest rate is one of the best in the market. So quite happy with it in the end. Reviewed on: 17th February 2023

Great app

I've been with Barclay for 2 years now and I've definitely come to love this app. I am apart of the Cash ISA as I have recently transfer in in December. The interest rate is perfect and I love that there is a restriction from withdrawing but you can keep depositing monies. I will encourage persons to join this app, very easy to understand.
