I have got ISA, Current account and Credit Card with... I have got ISA, Current account and Credit Card with Barclays and it was a bonding to have relation with the Bank. Great service and promotions. Reviewed on: 13th January 2025

Difficult to change account services

I have a savings account with Barclays and I wanted an ISA with Barclays and I wanted to transfer all the money from the savings to the ISA. I was told this would be straight forward however the process took longer than anticipated because of errors at the Barclays end. Firstly they made a mistake in the type of ISA I wanted, and then made a mistake by transfering it all into that ISA. Would not recommend switching to Barclays services. Great ISA rate

The best ISA rate for a while, beats all the other competitors. Took some time in branch to open the account but great customer service received during this visit. So glad to be back with the better rates after years of next to nothing! Reviewed on: 11th January 2023

Cash ISA paying 4%

I'm not a Barclay's customer so called at my local branch to open a Cash ISA account personally, On-line option not available to me. "We don't keep ISA application forms in branch. As you are not an existing customer you will have to arrange an appointment with one of our Financial Advisors". It would appear that the 4% ISA is just to gain 'free publicity' for Barclays as they aren't looking to take on new ISA customers without jumping through some time consuming hoops. Not worth it

I have been trying for over 6 months to get my money back from my dormant cash isa account and have received every excuse whilst this is still ongoing.. absolute joke! Avoid! Reviewed on: 31st August 2022

Monthly paid interest

Good customer support but poor on ethics and investments drag it all down

Barclays offers very low-interest rates on all its accounts despite high profits. They have a quick and good smartphone app which is a good thing but it's what you'd expect. The most pressing issue for me is their climate pledge and investment in fossil fuels. I don't like the fact that my money is with an unethical company that in a way greenwashes its actions with public relations stunts. I never had any issues with the bank but the low ambition and lack of ethical products along with their investment record were sufficient for me to begin moving my money. It's sad but if we don't force banks to re-think and change, they will do very little. Reviewed on: 4th March 2021

Barclays cash ISA is a fantastic product! you have the freedom to move money around if your in a bit of a tight spot and the customer service is second to none! If your going to get an ISA I strongly suggest this one!! FAB WORK BARCLAYS Reviewed on: 7th January 2020
