I have got ISA, Current account and Credit Card with... I have got ISA, Current account and Credit Card with Barclays and it was a bonding to have relation with the Bank. Great service and promotions. Reviewed on: 13th January 2025

Difficult to change account services

I have a savings account with Barclays and I wanted an ISA with Barclays and I wanted to transfer all the money from the savings to the ISA. I was told this would be straight forward however the process took longer than anticipated because of errors at the Barclays end. Firstly they made a mistake in the type of ISA I wanted, and then made a mistake by transfering it all into that ISA. Would not recommend switching to Barclays services. They're ok

They always give me grief when paying in cheques because the only id I carry is a provisional driving licence registered in a different address to where I live now. not everyone feels safe carrying their passport everywhere with them and I find the way they talk to me rude. Good customer service and conditions with the ISA

Opened a new ISA this year with Barclays, wasn't sure which product was right for me but got good advice and went with ISA. easy to use online too which is great for me. Reviewed on: 20th June 2016

Products are ok - service can let the bank down

I found the Barclays website east to use to enable me to look at the different Cash ISA's that were available. I then went into branch to speak to a personal banker. In my opinion the process was carried out too hastily and key points (which I only knew about because I had researched online first) such as whether or not interest would be received at the end of the term, yearly or monthly were not raised by the personal banker. Although I would open an ISA with Barclays again, I would only do so after researching the product beforehand. Reviewed on: 26th August 2015

Completely Stress free, shame interest rate was lower than other building society's

Quick and Easy

I opened up a new Cash ISA. I did not have time to go to the bank so went on online, logged on as usual. Using the relevant pages I was able to look into the cash ISAs Barclays offer and then had the ability to open the account online. All done in minutes and I could see it in my account details. I got a letter a few days later with the terms and conditions. very easy and quick. Reviewed on: 24th April 2015
