Review of the Barclays, Cash ISA:

Hassle to open account but good interest rate

Opening a Cash ISA account was difficult. I was told to do it in a branch but when I got there they told me they didn't have appointments with a rep available until 3 months later. I couldn't do it online and the app was a nightmare. But after trying several times and spending hours on the phone, I managed to open it. The letter with log in details took a long time to arrive, which is quite inconvenient when you want to start saving as soon as possible. But after all that hassle, the website works well and the interest rate is one of the best in the market. So quite happy with it in the end. Reviewed on: 17th February 2023

Quick and Easy

I opened up a new Cash ISA. I did not have time to go to the bank so went on online, logged on as usual. Using the relevant pages I was able to look into the cash ISAs Barclays offer and then had the ability to open the account online. All done in minutes and I could see it in my account details. I got a letter a few days later with the terms and conditions. very easy and quick. Reviewed on: 24th April 2015
