Good but Unsatisfied

Overall experience with Barclays since 2015 has been great but there’s room for improvement in dealing with low income earners. An account of over a decade should not be close because a customer informed the bank of their current life challenges. Reviewed on: 14th June 2025

barclays has been good.

barclays has been good. have used them for years both home and abroad. i had an issue with a payment bouncing but they told me straight away so i was able to amend the problem by transferring more money in. it is so easy to transfer money between accounts and to others Reviewed on: 12th June 2025

Brilliant bank and app easy to use

I’ve been with Barclays for many many years now, and they have always been a great bank to be with. The app is so easy to use to transfer or just check your account balance. Disappointing for loyal customers

If you're looking for a current account that gives you something back, Barclays might disappoint. The standard account pays no interest on your balance, which makes it feel like your money is just sitting there doing nothing. For a traditional bank, you'd expect a bit more in return for your loyalty. Overall, it’s a bare-bones account with very little incentive to stick around if you're after interest or added value.
