I've never had any negative experiences with Barclays, I find their customer service fast and helpful, their app easy to use and their technology always up to date. I've lost cards a few times and they've been replaced quickly. I wouldn't change banks and would always recommend barclays. Reviewed on: 13th December 2018

Always ready to help with any banking queries you may have with their mobile banking app or as a Current Account customer. You are treated no different than if you were a 'premium' customer. Offer reassuring guidance and support on any fnancial issues you may not understand and will never patronise you if you are very confused by their advice. Will always endeavour to explain the issue as clearly as possible, so by the time you hang-up, you are no longer confused. Staff are always presentable in branches, easy to approach and pleasant. I've been with Barclays over 15yrs and wouldn't change a thing. They are first with new innovative ways of banking and will inform you by the method(s) you requested, ie;- email, text, letter or phone as soon as there has been a upgrade or introduction on new ways of banking. Having the mobile banking app has been so benefical and saves alot of trips to a branch, l'd be lost without this app. Should l need to go to a branch, staff are always at hand to help you. Your never queuing for long, even at lunchtimes and the new banking machines they have in most branches, saves you queuing once staff have showed you how it works. You can deposit money and cheques and the transaction is immediately reflected on your bank account. Reviewed on: 13th December 2018

Very best in-branch customer service and ease of use.

The staff at the Norwich branch are extremely helpful, I got an appointment on the day (no need to book an appointment and come back another day like other banks I visited when I opened this new account), this was the reason I decided to bank with them. I have no regret and the account I have works very well the payments are taken from my total even while they are in clearing, makings it easy to manage my account and not go overdrawn. The mobile app and online banking are easy to use. Dropped one star because on calling the customer service number the person I spoke to had trouble understanding me and I found it difficult to understand them. Shame such a large bank can't employ call centre staff in the UK to generate more jobs hear and make it easier to communicate to one another, I do take some responsibility and the agent was polite and professional, I just couldn't understand her and she didn't understand me fully.
