I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

Always there to help, no quibbles, Barclays are by far the best. I have recommended them to all my friends and family. I have mental health problems so managing my finances were quite a struggle for me, until I got the Barclays banking app, giving me more independence in managing my money, paying bills, and ways to pay and save. Best Bank!

I have three accounts with Barclays. My Current Account, Savings Account and a Student Account. Barclays helped me set up all three and their customer service is impeccable. There mobile banking app includes everything you need such as transferring money to and from your own personal accounts, sending/receiving money to other accounts, viewing latest transactions and even temporarily freezing your card in case you have lost it. I could not recommend Barclays more highly to anyone. Reviewed on: 7th December 2018
