Easy to open an account

I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

Poor changes

They have made a lot of new changes to their current account and none of them benefit customers. Reviewed on: 6th February 2018

Stop closing tills in branches

Despite what the Bank says, people do want to be able to pay at the counter. I never use the machines, so spend a lot of time queuing. Reviewed on: 6th February 2018

Good Fraud protection

I Used my card to buy a car as it was a substantial amount they immediately contacted me to check it was me who used the card to make the payment as they were concerned it was being used fraudulently which is good fraud prevention from a bank Reviewed on: 5th February 2018

Reliable with no issues

I've been using Barclays for the past three years. I've had no issues so far, I absolutely love the changes they make to their mobile app and the customer service where a manager is appointed to come and meet me instead of me going to the branch whenever needed. Reviewed on: 5th February 2018

Extortionate overdraft fees

I have been charged extortionate overdraft fees. They do very little to help over the phone. I have not had this experience with other banks. Reviewed on: 4th February 2018
