Easy to open an account

I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

fairly satisfied

i would say im 80% satisfied with my account and dealings with them . their customer advice people could be more helpful and informed. like all companies they are not upfront when a mistake has been made but on the whole the usual account dealings have been ok Reviewed on: 7th January 2018

Excellent and never had issues

I recently had an online account hacked. Luckily, I noticed quickly and rang Barclays to ask them to stop the payment. They acted fast, replaced my cards and the money never left my account. Reviewed on: 3rd January 2018

Have banked here for over a decade

I have banked with Barclays since I opened my first bank account at the age of 16 (20 years ago!) I wouldn't think about changing my account at all. I have never had a problem and always receive excellent customer service. I am especially pleased with the Barclays online banking option and the recent apps such as pingit and the Barclays banking app. Reviewed on: 1st January 2018
