Easy to open an account

I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

Great FRAUD prevention

Problem Free Banking

I have had my bank account with Barclays since I was around 13 and I can honestly say I have never had a problem. If I have ever had a query it has been dealt with quickly and without fuss. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I can't fault them and wouldn't think of banking with anybody else. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Best bank ever!

Hubby & I have been banking with Barclays for 12 years now. We have our current & savings account, life insurance, house insurance and travel insurance thru them. The service we receive is always second to none! Keep up the good work Barclays! Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Great security

Barclays security is amazing, someone tried to use my details to spend £200 once and they spotted it straight away and declined it and phoned me. Sent me a new card straight away! Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Mostly good

The only problem I have had with Barclays was due to an incompetent call centre worker. Other than that they have been great, always checking when I add a new payee or spend more than Normal. Very handy app and links to all my accounts in one place. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Miss the little things

They keep coming up with big ideas, pingit etc, but can't get my address or my email right ! Would go into branch but it's been automated and talking to the only staff member on the floor in the middle of the branch infuriates me. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Current account

Easy to use mobile app which I love as it helps me keep an eye on my account. Love the personalised card option. Reward scheme option for insurance or mortgage etc where you get a cash sum for having such. Great customer service if they suspect a discrepancy / unusual movement on your spending they ring or msg to confirm its legit . Cant fault it ! Reviewed on: 8th November 2017
