I've been a long term customer of Barclays Bank and have always been impressed

Barclays Bank have ridden a few financial storms but their customer care and service is fantastic. The Barclays app is very easy to use and well set out. I would like to see more transparency on their investments though. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

EASY TO USE

LOVE BARCLAYS IT HAS AN ONLINE APP WHICH IS SO EASY TO USE, I CANNOT ALWAYS GET TO THE BANK BUT WITH THE APP I CAN SEE HOW MUCH MONEY I HAVE AND WHAT TRANSACTIONS ARE HAPPENING. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Never disappointed!

I have been a Barclays bank customer since I was 19 yrs old and I am now 70!!! They have never let me down! I do have other accounts with other banks and taken advantage of cash back but I am not about to leave Barclays!! Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Savings pots

Originally had a mortgage linked account with savings pots. Have found the savings pots so useful have kept the account even after paying off the mortgage. A great way to organise my money. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Very Poor company

Very poor bank been with them for 26 years and all I get is high overdraft charges tried speaking to them but their not interested at all. I really would not recommend them at all. I feel very unfairly treated by my bank. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

The quickest and easiest application with help from the right people straight away

So, as I have had issues with my cash flow of late I decided maybe it's best to look into new banking options. As my credit history is a little tarnished from some mistakes in the past it put me in a bind for opening up a new account. After looking online I found that most accounts I had to pay for and I had already been to a few high street names and was outright laughed at. So I was amazed when I walked into Barclays holding nothing more than my passport, a council tax letter and my tail between my legs and asked for an account. I was amazed when the lady behind the counter said certainly and I was told that I am lucky that an adviser is available now so take a seat. Not two minutes had passed when I was escorted to a room where I was asked about my banking history, current address and usual jargon. I was amazed after about 10 minutes of questions I was given a form, put my old John Hancock on it and was then passed a booklet. Inside the lady had written an account number and sort code, in which I said so what does this mean? She told me my account was open and I would receive my debit card in the next few days. Low and behold the next day! I check the post and there we go. I am now a Barclays customer. I have had no issues at all with them. Their staff are super friendly and helpful in Harrogate and would highly recommend banking with them. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017
