Good service overall, just minor niggles

Great customer service overall. Easy to use in branch and online. Branches are always quite busy (increased waiting times) due to popularity of the bank. The banking and pingit apps really help to provide a seamless and efficient service. The only issue we had was trying to get an up to date bank statement printed to show transactions of a gifted deposit for our mortgage.. we had to wait a couple of weeks until the new statement was made and released, they couldn't make us one up and stamp it for convenience. This pushed the exchange of contracts back by a couple of weeks. Reviewed on: 4th October 2017

Easy to set up

It was easy to open an account with Barclays, I applied online. They conducted a credit check and within a few minutes I had successfully opened an account. Reviewed on: 9th August 2017
