A disappearing act

Closed your local branches so no more personal access in local communities! Reviewed on: 17th February 2023

Reply from Bath Building Society We are committed to keeping our branches open and investing in the local community of Bath but I do acknowledge and apologise for the inconvenience caused by our decision last year to close our agencies. This difficult decision was made simply because of the low level of usage of these agencies. We do however pride ourselves on the service that we provide through the remaining branches and the support that we provide to customers who want to transact with us by other means, such as post, email, webchat and via our Bath Online system. I am also pleased to advise you that we will have a Mobile App launching in the next few weeks. Excellent service

The Society always gives good advice, especially with fixed term savings - I rely on their recommendations to transfer to a different product/service. The staff are friendly and helpful whenever I phone or go in to the office with a query, or ask for advice or help. They keep me well informed when interest rates decrease or increase. Sound local building society

Have been a member at various times for many years with a Cash ISA previously and a Regular Savings Account at the moment. Good rates of interest offered in both high and low interest periods. Reviewed on: 17th February 2023

Friendly helpful staff
