Website lies - branches cannot open accounts

Website says you can open an account in branch. Went to a branch and they told me this was not the case. Have tried and tried to open online but the instructions are not clear and am now ant an impasse where I cannot get anything to process. Very poor service. Reviewed on: 4th July 2024

Attracted by interest rate on offer. But when I asked for an application form there was some reluctance to send me one, "print off from website". I have never known a BS reluctant to send a form. Gave my address and when form arrived it was tricky to read as it bore my next door neighbour's address, not mine, including his house number. Reviewed on: 28th May 2024

I really like being able to go to a local branch. The staff are always lovely and very helpful. Thank you! I also like having a passbook - this system works well for me. Opening the ISA was easy and was dealt with most efficiently. Reviewed on: 28th May 2024
