I am a long time saver and member of the Socy, my money has always been safe with them, BIBS are caring and supportive of their community. and environment. I have had savings accounts for many years with BBS.

I have had savings accounts for many years with BBS. I like the fact that it is smaller, local building society. Customer service is generally ok, though could be a little more personal. Sometimes I feel the welcome when you walk through the door could possibly be warmer. Reviewed on: 10th February 2026

Much improved rates for savers

I had a small savings pot with Bath Building Society, but had not added to it for years. Recently I looked again at their rates, realised how good they were, and made a large additional savings deposit. Reviewed on: 10th February 2026

The ISA interest rates are Good

The ISA interest rates are not market leaders but very good. I like the fact I can transfer money from my ISA to my Bank account and it is there within days. On tel. Bath BS the staff are always friendly and helpful and after many years I am still with them as there is no need to change. Reviewed on: 10th February 2026

My experience has been good generally

My experience has been good generally, but I'm disappointed that I can no longer request transfers of money to my bank account by telephone or email and my nearest branch is inaccessible since the local agency closed down. Reviewed on: 10th February 2026
