I wont be going back to them

i had to change my motor bike to a new one my direct debt went from £31pm to £72pm, yet when i go to outer insurers i am £350 for the year, i have been speaking to people that have same bike 17 year old is £280 with Bike sure 19 year old who has had 2 claims in a year and bike is kept on street where anyone could steal it like his last bike was is only £400 and more and more of the same, i am 35 with no claims no points and have a good job bike is secure at home and work yet i am paying so much more for the same bike at the same time. was told is due to changing mid policy so i have been charged £350 for chagrining my bike hopefully they keep losing customer in the long term and they learn a lesson or go out of business. Avoid!!!

Total scammers! They lure you with low prices, then send you an email that you have put wrong information. When you contact them they will increase the premium 200%. They should be shut down immediately. Reviewed on: 16th January 2024

Extortionate cancellation fee.

Arranged insurance via a comparison web site. Got a message two days later to call them in order to ‘validate my insurance ‘. Apparently some of the information about the bike was incorrect after me inputting the registration on line therefore an extra £300 was needed to provide cover. I told them to cancel the policy and they charged me a £65 cancellation fee. This without any policy being brought into force until 1st February. Reviewed on: 8th January 2024

Avoid at all cost

ABSOLUT COWBOY OF A COMPANY. No policy documents sent, call after call....hassle after hassle, and after all the time wasting when I do not want their service, they charged my card cancellation fees. unbelievable! Reviewed on: 6th November 2023

Scammers

Took out a policy via a price comparison website, they then call me up the next day to “validate” the policy, ask a bunch of questions that were already answered via price comparison website and then add an extra 50% charge on top of the policy. Phone line got cut off and then a week later they cancel my policy and charge the £65 admin fee. DO NOT USE! Reviewed on: 2nd October 2023

DO NOT USE

Never use these people. We sold our bike in April. We had a month to month plan. Told them we had sold them. They stated they needed the documentation from DVLA to get a refund for the MONTHS we’ve continued paying, despite letting them know we sold it. Gave them documentation, they state they won’t accept it as it doesn’t have the chassis number on it but it has the reg. We’ve sent off the V5 previously to them which has the VIN and still this. What a nightmare and looking at their reviews, this seems to be their MO. To just keep charging people and making it impossible to cancel. Worst insurance company we’ve ever dealt with. WARNING WARNING WARNING Do not get motorbike insurance with this company there customer service telephone team is terrible wasted 90 minutes on my time this morning contact ing them 3 times absolute shambles down there .Thay email me saying I lied to them about my details when I set up the insurance policy one day ago .about when I brought my motorbike 8 years ago I did not get the dates right and thay was going to cancel the policy because off this and thay want pictures of the garage that I put my motorbike in.. unbelievable..who knows the exact date 8 years ago you brought a motorbike and why should I have to send them a picture of the garage I store my motorbike in ...who do these insurance companies think thay are the police or something .Then tryed to charge me £65 to cancel my insurance policy that doesn't even start until 2 weeks on the 8th August when it is the 25th July today and my years motorbike quote was £147 for the year. Do your self a favour and go with someone else thay think there the police down there not worth the hassle and stress dealing with bikesure.terrible companie.shocking....still got to wait 5 days to get money back let's see how much stress that's gonna be with this company. Rip off and waist of money

Took a motorbike policy with Bike Sure, and after the initial price, the price rose to double for no reason whatsoever. After a few days, I decided to cancel my policy (14-day cooling-off period) only to be asked for a £65 cancellation fee. When I complained, the guy I spoke to "tried his best to reduce this to a £22 deposit already taken". Please avoid this Company at all costs, as there are many hidden charges awaiting you! Whats the point?

Took out a policy but no certificate sent. You have to follow a link that doesn't work. I emailed them - no reply. Now I need the certificate so spend half hour waiting on the phone to be told that they will email the link that's not going to work. They just wont/cant email the certificate?? Scam, do not use

Insured my daughters bike online. Received a letter saying details were not correct, this was sorted, Then kept receiving letters about items missing/information not there even though emailed numerous times. Cancelled insurance, refund is not even half of initial payment, and she has only been insured for 2 months. Complete rip off, do not use! Do not trust the trustpilot reviews as they pay to remove the negative ones. Reviewed on: 1st June 2023
