Unhelpful unreasonable and do not care about customers

Been with nationwide since 2016, had several issues not been bothered about before. Now did try to resolve another issue and then is just been ignored, not showing any interest to help. Not surprised why are so many bad reviews. Will move to another bank. Not recommending use this bank, they don’t care about customers at all. Reviewed on: 14th January 2022

After over 20 years with Nationwide, there has never been a poor customer experience. Pleasant staff good service on the telephone, good communication and updates regularly and a nice branch to visit locally. Reviewed on: 14th January 2022

We swapped our main accounts to Nationwide a couple years ago. I find it much less complicated than previous banks, I have been with. Easy to bank online and the app is great! Customer service is fantastic as well! Reviewed on: 12th January 2022

FlexAccount: does what its says on the box

so simple, meets all my needs and is very simple to set up. Secure through use of the card reader, lots of options and a savings account to help you 'get in the mood'. Can't fault it. Reviewed on: 9th January 2022

Bank completely unhelpful

My bank card was used illegally to make a purchase. I reported this and the bank card was stopped. This means I cannot get cash without going to the bank or of course buy anything (I do not have a credit card in order not to run up debts). It is 11 days to Christmas - I have all the Christmas shopping to do for 6 people for Christmas dinner (ordered on line for delivery with now rejected card) plus of course the basics. I am 74 and now have to draw out wads of cash, carry it around and hope I am nt mugged..Apart from not being able to carry all the shopping - I would normally have ordered it online.. When I was in the Barnet branch reporting this the assistants seemed to find it very amusing. Obviously will be leaving Nationwide as soon as possible. And abslutely no thanks to Nationwide for the way they dealt with a 'good' customer who has been with them for years with no banking problems to concern them - when I really needed some help. They can only say a new card will be sent by post in 7 days. Goodbye Nationwide. Reviewed on: 15th December 2021
