Switching to Nationwide was the best decision ever I switched to Nationwide a few years ago after poor service from a bank I had been with for over 40 years. It was the best decision I have ever made. Reviewed on: 21st July 2025

Great all round Current Account

Initially attracted by the 5% interest rates on this account, but have stayed with them for good customer service, and other quality products. Reviewed on: 9th June 2017

Great process for changing banks

Great benefits

I opened a Flexplus account and saved £30 a month on breakdown cover and mobile phone insurance. Its excellent for £10 pound fee a month I also get family travel insurance and 12 months purchase protection on electrical products. Never had an issue oh and interest earned on balances upto £2500. Great customer service and excellent account

I have banked with Nationwide since I was a student. Their flex account is a fee free account and there is no monthly fee for going into an arranged overdraft as there is with some banks. You just pay a percentage based on how much you have used. I recently nominated my husband for a switch and we each received a £100 payment. In branch I always get excellent customer service.
